I’ve had a love for the water and fishing since the age of about 7 when I bought my first boat from my grandfather. We lived on Sand Lake; one of the lakes in a chain of lakes in Hillsdale, Michigan. When I grew up and had a family of my own, our vacations were always somewhere near the water and fishing was always a big part. In the 80’s, I was living close to Lake Erie so I decided to start my own charter business. And even though it is early wake-ups and long days with hard work, it has definitely been a pleasure and an amazing experience.

This coming year, 2012, will be my 24th year as a charter fishing captain in the Great Lakes. Simply put, there is nothing that I would rather do then fish the world famous Western Basin of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario where we dock in Olcott, NY at the Olcott Beach Marina. Our Great Lakes are by far the best sport fishing region that I have ever experienced and I expect it to be as great as ever in 2012.

I am looking forward to Spring 2012 so I can get out on the water and start chartering again. I hope to hear from you and see you soon for some GREAT fishing.

I have been a lifelong resident of Monroe, MI, fishing Lake Erie for more years than I care to admit. Over the many years of fishing I have been successful at casting baits, trolling and jigging for walleye. We can catch them however you like. For over 20 years I have lived in Boles Harbor just 3 doors from my boat. I get a lot of fishing time in. Since I retired several years ago, fishing is all I do!

To make your trip to Monroe more comfortable I have purchased and made available to our fishing friends, a completely furnished 2 bedroom home just 2 doors from the charter boat. My goal is to give you a comfortable and enjoyable fishing trip that you fondly remember from visit to visit.
