The shallow waters of the Western Basin of Lake Erie are perfect for millions of emerald shiners and that is just what keeps the yellow perch there throughout the year but especially in the fall.
Limit catches of 8-12 inch fish are taken on a daily basis. Michigan bag limit for Yellow Perch are 50 per perons.
Don't miss out on these scrapy fish as they are exciting to catch and considered by many to be the tastiest pan fish to eat!
