Q. Is there a bathroom on board?

A. Yes both boats come fully equipped with a stand up marine type head.

Q. Do we go out in bad weather?

A. The captain makes all final decisions on weather. We do not cancel for rain, but in the event of a storm or excessive winds we will have to either reschedule your charter or refund your deposit.

Q. How much is the deposit?

A. We require a $100 deposit for every charter date scheduled, but we require a 7 day cancellation notice in order to receive a refund on all walleye and perch charters, and a 30 day notice on all salmon charters. If you cancel your charter after these deadlines, you will forfeit your deposit.

Q. Do you allow kids on the boat?

A. Not only do we allow kids on the boat, we strongly encourage it. Chartering is a great way to get youngsters involved in fishing and the outdoors.

Q. Is alcohol allowed onboard?

A. Of course alcohol is allowed, but it is suggested that you drink in moderation for obvious reasons (Please try to avoid beverages in glass bottles if at all possible). U.S.C.G. Zero Tolerance policy on Drugs is strictly enforced.

Q. Do I need a fishing license?

A. Every adult in your party will need a valid fishing license. The term 'adult' varies, depending on what state we will be fishing in. If we fish in Michigan waters, any person 17 or over will need a license, however in Ohio, any person 16 or over will need a fishing license. Both licenses are available at our local bait store.
